I let this decant 1-2 hours, did not seem to change or integrate over that time space. Nose is mildly expressive, dominated by smokiness, maybe some slight hints of earth. On the palate, medium low alcohol, bright medium-high acidity, mild red fruits and not picking up much earth. Dominated by drying, simple tannins but does not overwhelm or intrusive. Finish is medium short. This is a pleasant, clean wine with nothing overpowering. A very nice wine to enjoy but nothing complex or stimulating.
