This has really darkened up quite a bit and looks almost like weak tea or a super-aged Sauternes. It doesn’t really have as oxidative of a profile as I was expecting, although the nose is quite nutty and funky with air. On the palate this is razor sharp with blood orange and grapefruit. I generally find the Bea orange wines to be more interesting than delicious, and this is no exception, but I must say that this one is definitely one of the better versions that I’ve tried.

Last bottle. Still holding up great and maintaining the characteristics of 3 years ago. A little more apricots this time with the florals and tea and not much maderization at all, just a clean simple finish. Nice with some pork schnitzel.

classic bea orange with deliciousness and stood up to both salad, beans and even to some thin strip steaks [ok , not that well to the steak!] Happy to open up some palates of friends not used to drinking orange

My favorite "orange" wine. This being a nice blend with Grachetto, Malvasia, and Gargenega plus others making for an interesting floral and citrus fruit nose which doesn't completely predict the palate. That profile has some of the maderized quality I like when backed up with fruit like apricot/peach (I like the tea note below since the flavor was almost like those fruit steeped in black tea) with a firm body yet plenty of acidity for a clean finish.
