  Minerality, oak, leather and berry on the nose. At 15 years, this wine can easily go another 10 years to start the drinking range. We decanted for 1/2 hour, which allowed it to open up. A great wine but will be better balanced with more time. The first signs of orange/brown tones of color on the edges so it has plenty of time to go. Berry, leather and oak on the palate. Pair with wild meats, mushroom/truffle dishes, sauces or sides.

  Great Rioja, powerful yet elegant, complex, acidity and freshness of the red fruit, soft tannins, velvet / push due to the oak layering, pencil, coffee, earth, pepper, full body, great long finish. Wish I had more ...
