  Rescued this from my parents cellar and held onto it for a year, well cellared. I remember it being 'hot' when purchased and it still is... says 15.8 on the label, maybe it has lost 1% over the past 14 years. First off, this has aged remarkably well: slight bricking and a greater balance than originally. Certainly stewed fruits and heat on the nose and palate. Not a great bottle of wine but it held up well giving off some smoky and meaty moments. Much better now than upon release but with a handful of flaws that prevent it from achieving something great -- or really good.
