A complex wine, much more than I'm used to in a Chardonnay. I shouldn't have been surprised, though, Efeste is one of my favorite wineries, everything they produce jumps to the top of my lists. Has a nice light gold color. It smells like Granny Smith apples, with hints of grass, and some mint. Lots of fruits like lemon and pear; plus some mineral, honeysuckle, and a touch of oak.

Drank to 2010 and 2011 side by side. Remarkably similar - both very good. The '10 definitely needed time to open up aromatics and flavor profile, but an hour in was clearly more complex and well integrated - a bigger wine with more fruit.

interesting tropical fruit flavors but lacks the acidity to knock me out.

Coming along nicely. Nice fruit and a ripe finish, but would prefer more acidity

Excellent chardonnay for pairing with seafood. Good acidity and well balanced.
