  Spectacularly expressive and elegant bouquet of roses, raspberry and strawberry fruit. This is pure and very clean. Very showy and expressive. Terrific nose. Soft as silk on the palate but with bright red and blueberry flavour. De Vogüé takes a lot of shit talk these days, often deserved, but this bottle was a time capsule into a different style of winemaking and an excellent look at an older and proper iteration of Musigny.
