Was worried I waited too long, but was not disappointed. Nice aromas of prune, rasin, licorice and spice. Similar palate with great balance, nice long licorice/tabacco finish. Seems to be at its peak.

Loved it in the tasting room. Still like Andrew Rich. That said, disappointing. Bought this years ago while tasting in Oregon, Carlton Winemakers Studio, highly recommended. Had with a spicier than normal penne arrabiata which forced me to initially discounted my impressions. However, they remain. Little nose. Short finish. Nice fruit on the intro, some wood, heavy tannins by the end. A lot of sediment for those still holding, account for it.
