Zesty little number, a little fizzy with good fruit, pineaplle, cinamon, some nutmeg, some lemon rind and zest, some mandarin skin..... some gunmetal aftertaste undertone, medium bite, nice finish... but a little sweet for mind... some nice minerailty...
I really prefer the more hefty old fashioned Gerw's but this is a good drop for summer on the bargain end of the $$ spectrum, $12 a bottle at the local
Overall I like it

Clea wine of pale golden colour with presence of legs. The nose seems slightly flawed with what seems to be some brett notes, medium intensity in a developing stage with aromas of roses, white pepper, ripe pineapple, apricots, cinnamon and notes of leather. Medium-dry in the mouth, with a noticeable amount of residual sugar, medium- somewhat flabby acidity, medium integrated alcohol, medium+ body and medium+ intensity flavours of roses, white pepper, ripe pineapple, apricots, cinnamon and clear notes of leather. Medium finish. Good quality wine with a complex nose, good concentration and balanced, but there's some brett... Drink now, but has potential for further ageing, it should be able to develop a bit in the following two years.
Pleasant example of a Gewurz at a very good price point. Tropical fruit sweetness - mango and pineapple - with enough acidity to make it a "half-dry" wine. Slight, lingering lemon peel bitterness on the finish. Very nice.

Fruity. Fairly sweet gwurz. Slightly effervescent. Great summer wine.

Nice and crisp, but still has a touch of that band-aid note from the '11 Gris. Underneath some pretty floral notes.
