I was expecting a lot of oak, but thankfully, this showed more mineral and earth. The Malbec component gives some blue fruits along with good freshness. This was a very pleasant surprise to me, in terms of its balance and welcome lack of oak (Anne-Caroline tells me that Rolland is no longer advising, which is a positive), its mineral notes, and its price point. A winner.
