Tongue-burning hot at first, but mellowed after open for about an hour and was quite good. Red-black fruit, earth, slight pepper, & fresh/floral flavors. Medium body. Nice 15 second finish. Would buy again & decant for an hour or more. Best at low 60s F, i.e. toward, but not at, the warm end.

Working with wine 2014 seminar 2 - piemonte (???): Muted aromas of confected plum, vanilla, cream cheese, cedar notes, slight caramel/glue notes. In the mouth the wine has initial flavours of plum and vanilla then medium plus intensity chalky tannic grip also introduces a sligthly confected, almost jubey, red fruit note. Quite spicy with a sligth astringency on the back of the palate. Hmm. Note - considerable throw in the glass.

Excellent rendition of Dolcetto, the wine provides the right balance of fruit and herb notes, the flavor profile is somewhere in between cherries and raspberries, it pairs well with pizza. On the second day, the raspberry notes were more prominent.

Was worried this was going to be too old to enjoy but turned out to be solid; Ripe cherry fruit; Medium body; Clean finish; Enjoyable

Was afraid this would be over the hill but it was drinking great. Plenty of vibrancy and dark berry fruit in the glass.
