  bought this at duty free buenos aires airport. great deal. this is a fantastic, rich malbec.

  Deep purple color. Blackberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and vanilla on the nose. On the palate it shows juicy fruit with a balanced vanilla sweetness from the oak. The tannins are soft, and the wine has a plush texture. Medium body, with medium+ finish. Drink now - 2018.

  Clear and bright, deep ruby with inky legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of ripe black fruit such as dark plums, dark cherries, black olives, liquorice, lavender, some leafiness, smoked meat, game, cedar and black pepper.   A very good and very typical Malbec from Argentina. Malbec tends to be a one trick pony, no matter how good the trick. This is that kind of wine. A mostly one-dimensional, good tasting wine with pepper notes and a good finish.
