A big, wonderfully balanced wine that I would definitely buy again. Notes of blackberries, cherries, and dried figs with the oak present but not overwhelming. Kind of wish I had decanted this but it was fun watching it evolve in the glass. Could have cellared for a decade but I have no regrets about opening it when I did - super enjoyable, concentrated, and complex.

A lot of comments about lack of body here. Well, my view is that it's a high altitude malbec, which tells me that body and fullness won't be the primary characteristic. But it was a nice wine, not great, but I don't expect great at this price point. A bit heavy on the barrel toast, not a lot of fruit profile showing through at this point. Well balanced acidity, and very slight tannins remaining.

Nicely balanced, but could use a little more oomph. Good fruit of black cherries, blackberries, red currant, with herbal savory, herbaceous bramble, and cedar. Great medium acidity, plush tannins, medium alcohol, medium (+) body. An excellent example of Malbec from high altitude Lujan de Cuyo region.

This bottle was gifted from old neighbor Deb, 3 doors down. It was a good Malbec. Would buy again
