The nose is medium in intensity, with aromas of red fruit, vanilla and oak. The palate is dry, with medium acidity, medium alcohol and medium plus tannins. This is nice wine which is drinkeable now but is likely to improve with a little more bottle age. Apparently, it comes from the only two acres of Pinot Noir in Kentucky, so it is somewhat of a rare novelty. Good, but not really worth the premium price.
