Really attractive, fresh, creamy lemons, salty minerality, energetic, green herbs, clean flavours, good length. At wine bar La Douce, Antwerp, Belgium.

Maconnais, Pouilly Fuisse, St. Veran, etc. (Jeff K's): Silvery gold in color. The nose has flint with slight lemon peel. On the palate, this has a nice texture. A bit soapy, which I sometimes find in cote de Beaune wines. Also lemons. It improved with air as a minerality came out.

Pale green, hint of gold. Cool nose of green apple, stone, and sweet lemon. Expands nicely and smoothly across the palate, balancing similar flavors on a medium to full bodied frame. Balanced and lingering finish. Really very good, especially for the price. Should hold and may improve slightly over the next 5-7 yrs.

Straw yellow color. Nose of green apple, bread, river rock, and white pepper. Medium+ body and acid, and medium, mineral tinged finish, with notes of green apple and baked pear. I read somewhere that this is a mix of steel and barrel fermented, but it drinks like steel fermented chard to me. Enjoyable pairing for salads, seafood and lemony sauces, but not terribly complex, and I'm not seeing the Meadows "reductive/ripe" comments with this tonight either.
