Buttered tinned peaches and cream, quite confected but with sweet spice, honey also touches of butterscotch and toasted nuts which are more discernible on the palate with a bit too much alcohol heat on the finish.

Impromptu supper at my place (My place, parramatta, sydney): From Coravin. Aromas of orange blossom, vanilla, slight butter, honey and peach. More of the same on the palate but the honey and the butter are to the fore with some orange and peachy notes. Ben thinks it might have a touch of botrytis - hence the orange notes. It finishes with a bit too much alcohol heat. it's also a bit flabby for me. I'm sure chilling it would be take care of this (served at about 15C) but it would also nobble the flavours which are a little muted already. Hmm

From coravin. Aromas of peach, cream, butter, vanilla, sl toasted nuts and also, oddly, a very slight vegetal note. On the palate there are flavours of peach, spice, slightly woody notes, along with buttery hints. Slight mid-palate grip. Perhaps lacks a little acidity, but nice enough.

From Coravin. Apricot and apple, cream, butter, butterscotch and slight spice. In the mouth the wine has flavours of slightly tart apricot and cream, buttery hints. Despite it's tartness it does lack a little acidity and a touch flabby as a consequence. Perhaps I will serve the next glass a touch cooler (this was 15C from cellar)

Six nations tasting (Pyrmont): highly perfumed, cream, butterscotch, slight peach, tangy, beautifully balanced and harmonious. Lovely.
