  • Med depth dark cherry red, lustrous, lighter rim.
Quite closed, some delicate red fruits, barely detectable oak, gently fragrant with no hard edges.
Supple palate, slippery texture, soft but with nice persistence and probably a bit coiled up at this stage. Red fruits, cherrystone sourness, some tar spice and liquorice, hint of coffee. Very primary still though, dominated by youthful bright fruits. Enjoyable drinking, very clean and with a pleasingly refined and long crisp finish. Doesn't have a huge amount of personality though.
