  • Musty Willamette valley Burgundy notes and dark stone fruit highlight the first sip of this wine preceed wonderful intensity and mouthfeel. Finish medium long. Just past prime or my rating would have been a couple point higher

  • This is not aging as well as I had hoped. The (already limited) fruit is fading and the oak tannin and structure is coming to the forefront. Lots of woody flavors. Just not my cup of tea at all.

  • A lot to like about this. Really beautiful nose exuding a kind of freshness. On the palate, attractive silky texture, lifted, and fresh. Light-medium-light body with a good core of earthy and savory fruit. Virtually no sweetness and on the austere side - I found myself wishing for a bit more of a fruit presence (I have more of a middle-of-the-road/slight leaning to AFWE palate). Lovers of Pinot that have "gobs of fruit" will probably not find this to their liking. I have a feeling that a few more years will benefit this, though it is very enjoyable right now.

  • Pretty dark and dense for a 2010. Lots of minerally flavors, and some tannins that smooth out after about an hour open.

  • Lovely aromas with a bit of Pinot funk that is a bit barnyard and a bit forest floor. Very lovely medium weight with nice balance and great integration. The flavor profile is a perfect extension of the nose, inviting and full of dark berries. I was very impressed at what this offered, especially at this price point. Hints of minerals emerge through some of the pleasant earthiness. Impressive effort I really enjoyed.
