Vanilla oak, spiced cherries, mouth coating anise laden beets and leather. This chewy and powerful Tempranillo has plenty of new oak which would benefit from additional time in the cellar to soften. Drink next 2015+

This Tempranillo from the Rogue Valley is a deep and dark red. The nose shows a big dark fruit, plums, olives and smoke with a touch of vanilla for the oak. The fruit is delicious sweet and full bodied when held on the palate. The wine moves into a nice middle and supple tannic finish that is lingering and enjoyable. This four year old could do well with another year in the bottle but is very drinkable now.

Wine tasting in the Willamette Valley, showcasing Dundee Hills and Southern Oregon (Dundee Hills and Carlton, Oregon): Crimson-blue in the glass. Beautifully spiced red and black fruit aromatics and flavors which include exotic spices, coconut, raspberry and bright acids over leather. This tightly woven, yet conjointly balanced tempranillo needs time to fill in and settle for it's big and bold at the moment. Already showing exquisite refinement and brilliance, this is one to watch over the coming years. My favorite Oregon Tempranillo producer year after year. I haven't found a better tempranillo in the country.
