  This held up remarkably well given that it traveled all over the world. Great legs and a rich brown-purple color. Dark fruit on the nose; some tobacco. Brighter fruit on the palate with an excellent structure and balanced tannins. I felt bad for forgetting about this and not drinking sooner, but it could probably hold up another 5 years.

  Really upfront and delightful nose of red and black fruits and a healthy does of graphite. The nose was jumping out of the glass from the get go. Nice med mouthfeel with silky finish. Not a long finish, but a very pleasant drink. Not quite enough body to stand up to steak, but really an elegant wine nevertheless.
