Upon pouring I was greeted with the deep purple hue you would expect. I picked up a slight smell of spice, but it smelled like most malbecs. Upon tasting, I noticed boysenberries and almost a tart cherry flavor. Tannins are definitely present, but the wine counteracts that with a smooth/silky, almost dark-chocolatey finish.
I enjoyed it... goes well with a meal. I'd say the 2010 vintage is nearing the end of the window.

Not bad for a blend. Deep red color, with light flavors of blackberry and spice. Easy on the pallet velvety on the finish. Will buy this wine again
