Last of 3 bottles. PNP - medium brown / red color. On nose, tobacco, tomato paste, straweberry and tart cherry. On palate, full body, rich tannins, medium acidity and very long finish. On palate, more sweet/sour cherry and savory dried tomato. 93-94.

Un-named Atlanta wine tasting Group: Wine #5 in blind tasting (older wines). Notes starting to get poor. Dark red color with clear meniscus. Currants, blackberry and savory notes (black tea and citrus). Full body, rich fruit flavors although starting to tire. Guessed CDP with age or potentially Burgundy from a very warm vintage. 92+/-
Drink up.

Didn't take notes - darker fruit profile than the "normale." Very enjoyable and this has aged well. 92++ but will formally score in a few years when I try my next bottle. Slow ox'd for several hours (did not decant).

Longlivebrunello tasting, the "La Paulee" of Montalcino, vin 18:
From the highest vineyard in Montalcino, single cru at 600m. Fermented in concrete tanks, long maceration. Classic stuff!
From magnum bottle. Darker nose than the white label, more dense. Blueberry, raspberries, licorice.
Concentrated on the palate, blue fruit. 91p

5/18/2018 - Teaky Likes this wine:
Earthy nose, fruit forward flavors (red fruits), very nice, still tannic.
