Opened and served immediately. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of apples, vanilla, spiced pear and a dash of sulphur. Flavors of pears, apricot core, persimmon and a little lemon. Medium acidity, light to medium body. Drink over the short term, medium if you'd like to push it. This bottle was just a step or two behind the previous bottle tasted.

Tasted December 13, 2006 at an offline. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Rot Wein glass. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of whetstone, grapefruit, pears and yellow apples. Flavors of peach up front over a minerally base. Refreshing on the palate with lively acidity and good, medium body. Drink over the next 3-4 years. One of my favorite white burgundies of the tasting. I paid $40.79 for this wine locally and recommend it.
