  Well i agree with the last note with elements of my original note. Drink now and/or look for next vintage...still decent value here in CAN.

  Had a little tasting of this which is the latest vintage it seems. Great price point to just give this a try if you are new to the region. The style I think is representative of the varietal and my experience with region.
  
  I tried this 30 mins out of fridge, and open for >30 mins in big glass. Drank solo and with some slightly spicy vegetarian fare. Worked well.
  
  This is getting on in years and is at its peak, with maybe 2 years of solid drinking left. The '06 notes are on same line as me. This is the style i like these days, although maybe light given the cold winter...anyway nose is nice with some dark berry fruit with clear floral/violet quality. ? a little meaty texture. Palate is light/med with nice acid and lightly coating tannin. Fruit comes of initially as bright tart/sour cherry. Transitions to a darker berry note. Overall has nice balance and is a lighter style that is often refreshing these days, esp given the entry level price point. Buy and give it a try!
