Flight 1, South America, Wine 1 (blind): The wine was medium yellow-green in colour and offered an expressive nose of citrus, lime, gooseberry, green apple and vegetal notes (e.g. asparagus). On the palate the wine showed lime, gooseberry, some grapefruit, apple and vegetal notes, paired with medium-plus lively acidity and a long finish. A medium-bodied, balanced, well-made Sauvignon Blanc with very good length but limited complexity. Drink now.
