This is an opulent and luscious white Burgundy. It is bold, but not pretentious. Notes of citrus and mineral are on the nose and the palate, with a lingering and pleasing finish. 4.5 Stars.

Leroy Dinner at Binkley's (Phoenix, AZ): This wine has the misfortune to follow the superstar '02 D'Auvenay Meursault Narvaux. That's like going on stage after James Brown. This was served blind too, and many guessed it was a premier cru. Loads of mineral, nose of wet clay, taste of pear, light elegant - but short - finish.

Coravin Marathon with Tim, Ben, Michael (Wingtip): (blind) Moderate concentration straw. Slight reduction. Slight lambic sourness - is this some weird skin-fermented natural wine? High sparkly acid. Slight well-integrated oak - probably mostly used barrels. Slightly phenolic on the palate.
Guessed a basic Burgundy - Macon Villages 2013. I think this bottle was a bit off from being Coravined.

Nice acidity with mid-length. More generous at this stage than Leflaive 11 Batard tasted alongside.
