Nose: white rice, cheese, pineapple, Notes: very fresh and still feels quite young with some citrus and mandarin on the palate. I've had quite some Vougeraie whites in the past few months and I think it's safe to conclude that I personally would prefer their Corton Charlemagne over their Batards. The style of their Batards are generally speaking not the fatty/nutty type and I feel it could certainly benefit from a more round palate. This wine is not the style I like. Having said so, it feels that this wine should continue to live for at least another 10 years without any problem. Drink: 2028+ Rating: 87
