13.3%. From a 375ml. Medium pale red. Lifted cola and candied fruits on the nose, pretty. Liquorice; clean tasting, medium/light structure more noticeable acid than tannin, 15 sec finish. Inoffensive, food friendly, good value. Smells better than it tastes. Nothing intriguing but well crafted nevertheless.

Garnet with a bit of ruby and crimson. Medium legs. Aromas of raspberry, hint of strawberry, distinct cherry, light toast, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spices are more predominant as flavors; tannin is more fruit than wood. Medium body, smooth texture. Finish is medium to a bit longer. Acid medium plus. A varietally correct, minimalist approach Pinot Noir. Subtle and elegant. Remained impressive for 3 days. Purchased as part of a splurge case of Navarro's finest. At <$24 with tax & shipping, QPR is slightly above average. Drink now or in 2018. Another winner from Navarro!

Clear pale garnet with rim browning. Strawberry, toasted oak, vanilla. Low acids, medium to low tannins. Slate. Long balanced finish.
