  I'm not a big Burgundy drinker, but this wine was was lovely. Nice dark color with no signs of bricking, very fresh and vigorous. It had a full and satisfying mouthfeel. The taste revealed an abundance of fruit supported by fully resolved tannins, and the finish was long and lingering. The only detriment was a slight vegetative note in the nose (asparagus?) that I did not find attractive, or I would have rated this wine even higher. Paired nicely with a portion of American Kobe beef.
