  • P&p. Some obvious Brett in this bottle, but not too obtrusive and it works fine. Savory, spicy fruit, just highly characterful and moreish. Consistent with previous notes. Good stuff and a terrific value.

  • P&p; drinking well right out of the bottle and held up perfectly well over two days. Matches previous notes - expressive, characterful, tasty/moreish, quite enjoyable. No discernible Brett in this bottle. Evolving slowly; perhaps at peak, but no rush.

  • Drinking well now and I don't see it gaining much with age. Aromas of dark fruit, smoked meat and a hint of earth. The palate adds a bit of dust. Integrated medium acidity/tannins. A touch simple but a nice qpr that speaks for itself and doesn't let the fruit steal the show.

  • Consistent with previous notes. On day 1 it has some barnyard. Day 2, the barnyard is completely gone and the wine is drinking beautifully. Flowers, earth, olive, smoke, spice; deep, savory, complex, delicious.

  • P 'n p. Smells like smoke, savory-sweet tián miàn jiàng, flowers, spicy rooty earth, dark nebulous fruit, and olive (roughly in that order of intensity); all quite cohesive. Savory, earthy depth that I just love. No hint of the barnyard that shows up in some bottles. Similar on the palate but with brighter fruit - both savory and fresh, delicious, with good balancing acidity and grippy but fairly well integrated tannins. Drinking very well, with no signs of decline. My 5th to last bottle, out of 20 - thinking I should have bought more!

Richer fruit on day 2, like fresh berries, overtaken by mineral earth toward the finish. Delicious.
