  • Always curious to see how age worthy these Canadian ice wines are - and I think most of the rieslings still have some room to run at this point, though they are probably not going to necessarily improve either. This wine displays medium golden brown hues, akin to an older Sauternes. Very nice weight and viscosity. On the nose you get typical apricot marmalade, caramel, and autumn leaves - telltale mature ice wine notes. Finish on this wine is medium with the acidity taking a backseat to the sweeter elements of burnt sugar and spice. Nicely made, but not the best I've had in the genre. Drank over several nights, consistent notes.
