A very enjoyable experience from a stalwart producer in Niagara. Color in the glass is a medium/dark brown, reminiscent of a thirty year old Sauternes, so it might appear to have aged slightly prematurely. But the nose and palate and still very fresh. Nose is typical - apricot marmalade, ripe tropical fruit and a bit of tapioca. The finish is really the strong suit here - owing to the high viscosity, the wine tends to have a 40 second+ finish, with really pleasant notes of peppermint to augment some of the strong candied fruit elements of the initial approach. I slightly prefer the Vidals among the Ontario ice wines, owing to their slightly unique nature, but the rieslings are aging very well and will note disappoint fans of the genre.

Full of raisins, honey and molasses. Dark brown in color and very Tawney-esque. Definitely sweet, but not as syrupy as I would have expected. Very nice overall.

This was truly a nice treat...The nose is like honey and apricots with butterscotch. It was slightly viscous, but still had enough acid on the back end that it didn't detract from the experience.

Drinking very well. More concentrated but faster aging than a German icewine. Stonefruit with distinct mineral.
