Dark berries, cassis, Medium-full bodied. Acidity is pleasant, I'd call it medium. Mild earth notes. Definitely an herbaceous note lingering (fairly seamless, not off-putting for this taster). Its a fruit driven wine, as you'd expect, with decent complexity. Next to no alcohol is perceived, a true feat for an Aussie red. Finish is medium.

Earthy, stony, pronounced aroma. Black currants. The earthiness blows off - the bottle was just cracked open. Menthol, touches of tomato leaf, complex nose. Dorian soil here - red clay, and a black biscuit clay, bisque maybe. It lowers the yield quite a bit. Less menthol, leaning towards more of the black fruit I am being told, and that is the case. Savory, long finish.

Fleming Tasting my number two wine of the night. Dark fruit and currants on the nose, more of the same on the palate, nice flavors, balanced, structured, touch one dimensional, medium body and medium/long finish.
