Dy-no-mite. Toasted sesame. Rounded honeysuckle, melons, finishes into pear. Just delicious. Drink less cold than you think it should. She’s ready to dance now.

Last 2 of 6, pnp, perfect corks and levels, a transformation from weedy earlier bottles, rounding out nicely and with just the right amount of balancing acidity, clean/pure, long and layered if not as yet particularly persistent and concentrated, no pox, upside, 10 years on this showing. A cautious F (17.5) given background and excellent match for scallops!

PNP. Deep yellow color. Lemon, citrus, spice and exotic stone fruit aromas. Rich palate for a 2011, a bit exotic but loaded with acid that complements the richness.

3rd of 6, pnp, perfect cork and level, another hopelessly disappointing bottle, by now I'd expected this to put on a bit more weight and round out, but no it remains stubbornly lean, light and acidic, the aromatics aren't bad but they are unbalanced and at this stage I'd worry about losing the little fruit that is there, I've had better Pays d'Oc chards from a co-op and most Maconnais or Chalonnais whites these days are better made and more interesting........so for Meursault in an ok to fine vintage from a grower of Roulot's reputation, it's poor and appalling RQP. At best QG (14).

Corked, and a shame as the underlying material was so fresh.
