  For an old wine it was very good. Good bouquet and strong fruit flavors. Bottle did have a lot of sediment

  This wine has gorgeous floral notes on the nose right out of the bottle. Tannins are soft and silky. Nice black fruit on the pallet with a medium, gentle finish. It won’t get much better than it is now. I wish I had more.

  Day Three, definitely improved and tannins and a slight body came through better than on day one

  Full MOT scoring. Bright ruby red with a hint of cassis and candied cherry on the nose. Moderate tannins 7/10 and a dark finish.
  
  Dry middle palate and moderately long finish. Petroleum also comes through at the end in the finish.

  Mt. Veeder Tasting. Lovely rich red fruit on the nose, more of the same on the palate, delicious tasting, medium body, medium finish, needs two more years to peak.
