  Alc: 14.5%; Deep Crimson Red
  Striking aromas of spice, chai latte, blackberry jam, damson and cocoa powder on the nose. As the wine opens, there is a hint of volatility that sneaks in.
  Big and full, this is a buxom wine with a broad mid-palate and good concentration. Very flamboyant, open-knit wine packed with baked sweet super-ripe fruit with medium acidity and sweet, furry tannins wrapping all the fruit in a blanket. Flavours include a dark fruit melange of warm blackberry and apple pie, blackcurrant coulis, chocolate flake shavings, crushed black pepper, dry spices and star anise. The touch of VA almost helps the wine along and as it opens, shows more nastergal jam with soy with warm spices. More jammy than raisined fruit. Still holding at eight years but should be drunk up. VA grew as wine opened further in bottle.
