quite nice. reasonable yeastiness going on and no sweetness to speak of yet still round and fruit forward with nice apricot and white flowers. good aged bottle that should kick around for awhile longer.

Family Christmas in Wellington (Belmont Hills, Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand): (out of magnum) - first rate champagne - great balance, super freshness, frothy and persistent bead. The equilibrium between toasty mealy character and lemony freshness is perfect. Not a world beater - but as good or better than most of the big house brands at a lower cost. I imagine this is also fresh stock - I would not want to age this. Similar to a magnum tasted earlier in the month, this would reinforce Antonio Galloni's contention that champagnes are best out of magnum. A better wine than the Delemotte white label N.V. (out of mgnum) tasted earlier in the month.

Fin lätt mousse. Kraftig utvecklad doft av jäst, mineral, nötter och torkade fikon. Fräsch lätt smak balanserad syra. Smaken svår att beskriva. Kort inte helt positiv eftersmak.

Golden color. Lemony-creamy with decent fruit. Age is noticeable. Drink now, I'd say.
