  Medium bodied, dry, refreshing, showing yellow fruit with a slightly toasted aspect. Solid basic cava. Had a glass at Sandro with the buffet.

  No lot number or disgorgement date that I could find, but the bottle was purchased in November of 2022. Lemon, yeast, green apple peel, the faintest hint of ginger, surprisingly long aftertaste ending on a slightly bitter note. Vivid in the nose but very gentle in the mouth. Somewhat bland, but, because of this, very flexible with food. This is not a wine for serious tasting, but it's a very good choice for a large gathering on a tight budget (or just on a tight budget whatever the reason). [Tasted from the Jancis Robinson glass, the Conterno glass, and the old Dani Rolland Cristal d'Arques glass--each glass emphasized very different aspects of the wine, but the overall quality remained the same. The description, arbitrarily, is based on the Jancis Robinson glass.]

  Jólasmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2022 (Hlíðarás 10): Ljós litur. Græn epli. Bæði í nefi og á tungu. Þokkalegasta jafnvægi. Heiðarlegt og gott freyðivín á mjög góðu verði.
