This is a nice unoaked Chardonnay. Full bodied, with big citrus, sour apple, and more than a hint of minerality. Crisp and acidic. Best when allowed to warm up a little bit.....becomes a little bit more complex, with some melon coming through. At around $9.00, this is a nice food wine and a good value.

I would echo the earlier comments regarding letting the temp creep up just a little. Stone cold, it's a little flat and blah, but let it warm up a little (30-60 minutes) and the fruit starts to show nicely. Another great Aussie wine for an amazing value.

We had this with grilled seafood. In a restaurant, so not much chance to warm up, though it did seem to get better during the hour we were there. Crisp, clean for its type, which I understand is consistent with unwooded process. Hints of citrus, but not overly flavorful- a little mineral seems to provide a nice balance.

This chardonnay tastes like a harsh sav. blanc. Not my thing.
