Referring to my earlier tasting note from late 2014 ... it seems this one just needed a little more time. Same up front, now fully integrated on the finish. I'm upgrading the score (and wishing I had more ...)

Beautiful dark cherries up front, and I'd absolutely buy more at this price point ... but there's just a little dissonance on the finish - maybe the acidity feels a bit un-integrated? - that keeps me under 90 pts. I have another one, maybe it will settle down with another 6-12 months?

(Gloria Ferrer Pinot Noir) Dark cherry red color; intense, tart cherry, tart black cherry, raspberry jam, forest floor nose; brooding, tart black cherry, raspberry jam, strawberry jam palate with good acidity and integrated oak; medium-plus finish (good value at $22)
