lifted, high-toned and bright, what a fabulous showing... a little smoky sponti-ish stuff still, lots of airy spice, lots of lime and apple... dense and silky on the palate, intense acid line, smooth but bright finish, this is just fabulous right now, but will continue to drink well for at least 5 more years

Gregor Breuer Tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** not blind, wines usually popped & poured *** Glass: Gabriel Universal Clear, medium golden color. Beautiful expressive nose with lots of yellow fruit, very floral, ripe citrus fruit. Beautiful. Not fully dry, good, ripe acidity. 12,5% abv. Wonderful ripe, candied fruit, smoky and spicy. Very phenolic and with an amazing mineral core. Deep, wonderful structure. Very long. Beautiful bottle! As most 2011 Riesling almost on its peak and drink nicely now. Will it improve like most other Schlossbergs for decades? I doubt, but it will for sure stay on this brilliant level for years. 94

Flinty green taste, fruity but has lost vibrancy, should have drunk a few years ago

I guessed Bürklin-Wolf, old school style, some sweetness but pure long finish. 92
