Bright, ripe, earthy nose. Followed with dark cherries, forest floor and a tart finish. Drinking well now. If you're sensitive to the "bitterness" of '11 this may bother you but otherwise it's quite tasty.

Bright ruby red. Red raspberry nose with hints of cinnamon and clove. Plenty of firmness provided by round ripe tannins. Although light weighted, plenty full bodied in the mouth. Medium length.

Cork was a little funky, which gave me pause. The wine itself, however, is quite good immediately upon opening. Funky, earthy nose that, with time and air, becomes (almost) époisses-esque. Ever so slightly sour finish tells me this will be even better in a year or so. So good now, though with ripe red fruit and more earth. This is why I drink Burgundy.
Update: After 90 minutes or so, the wine tightened up unexpectedly. If you drink it now, I wouldn't decant this.

Juicy, shows 2011's acid structure, needs some more time.
