Sort of hard to finger. Light bodied, tannic, peppery, and dark fruit. (A little like pinot noir, a little like syrah, but really its own animal). Simple (linear and monotone). Very pleasant. Better enjoyed on the Bosphorus than dinner in Sherman Oaks.

Interesting, but I couldn't get past the burnt rubber aftertaste. I see the earlier comments about sangeovese, Burgundy and Beaujolais, but I don't get that. Unless some mad Burgundy-scientist dried the grapes like Amarone, and then did carbonic maceration and mixed in an old tire.

Pitched somewhere between sangiovese and Beaujolais, this has ever-so-tasty bright berry fruits to complement the lurking leathery dusty notes. Deliciously quaffable with low tannins and good acidity but quite seriously dense and well structured too. Excellent value and will probably do well for 3 years in the cellar.

pale colour cherries on the nose, something candied, candied cherries perhaps light-bodied, little tannin, some sweet fruit refreshing, quite a bit of acidity like a very simple Burgundy good
