New grape for me: Narince. Drank over two nights. Served well chillled. Tropical fruit, full mouthfeel, slightly buttery, good acids. Long slate mineral finish. very tasty. Second night the fruit came out more adding apricot, and also the finish changed to fruit and only slightly minerally. I prferred it the first night more, but this was good too. Although slightly high at $26, definately would buy again..

The oak is lovely, but it's obliterating the real character of the wine. As such, the basic/non-oak blend is by far the better wine of the two.
