  • Medium(+) ruby, slow moving legs. Developing aromas of blackcurrants, candied fruit, spice and floral notes. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium ripe tannins, medium-medium(+) alcohol, medium sleek bodied. Medium flavours of blackberries, cherries, spice, mineral and a touch of vanilla/sweet oak. Good length with zingy finish. Pleasant refreshing texture. Syrah in northern Rhone style: focused and elegant, structured and fruit-riven. A nice wine, good going indeed. Great to see antipodal balance to the dreary Shiraz jams.
