Delicious, with flavors and aromas of singed apple wood and lemon verbena. A little on the hot side, makes the inside of my lips numb, but in context this doesn't detract from the wine. Very nice white Rhone and great QPR.

This wine is composed of 50% Grenache Blanc, 30% Rousanne, and 20% Viognier, yet to my palate, upon first opening, it is the Viognier that dominates.
At wine-fridge-white temperature of 48 degrees, the aroma is faint, and seems reminiscent of pears, green apple, and grilled pineapple.
The palate shows the usual white Rhone melange of beeswax, honey, toasted bread, tart pear, and green apple; and there is a bit of wood at the end. Unfortunately, the alcohol is strong in this one....the label claims 13.5%, but my mouth is numbing. It's a bit medicinal in that respect. It also exhibits a more tangy acidity than I usually encounter in white Rhones.
Aside from the alcohol, this wine presents itself as quite refined, in a way that is difficult to categorize; it exudes rectitude. I like it.
I will wait upon aeration and warming to finish the review.
Addendum: with air and warmth, caramel and briny notes emerge. Alcohol is still prominent.
2nd addendum: after additional aeration, honeysuckle-nectar flavors emerge, and the finish lengthens.
