  • When I had my first glass of this I was bored. My sense was that it was overrated. The wine has been under coravin for 1 month and today it is magnificent. I opened it and it is just amazing. The wine is balanced, perhaps feminine in texture. Coffee, chocolate roasted meat, roasted chestnuts. So much complexity, the wine just makes you excited for the next sip. Deep black fruits, lush, spicy long and complete.

  • great nose, wow as a PNP. overripe prune and other complex background fruit on palate. actually gets worse for a short period then comes back over an hour. very good but not amazing.

  • Deep, dark, rich nose, without the lifted, floral character you often get from red wines with Viognier in them. Really smooth in the mouth. Again, plenty of dark fruits, with a smoky richness; almost savoury. Tannins well integrated. Plenty of character. Well and truly into its drinking window and very drinkable it is. No hurry - I suspect that it'll last for many years yet.
