Tørr og trå, volatil! Ble ikke noe bedre med lufting. Testet også dag 2 og 3, men ingen endring. Håper det kommer noe godt ut av den etterhvert, men akkurat nå var dette en gedigen skuffelse.

Beautiful faint reddish brick color. Classic nose of tar and roses, just what I was hoping for, such a beauty. Fine tannins but def with a bite. light on its feet, but def needs food. Glad I have a few more!

Slow-ox'd for several hours, then followed over two days. Light garnet red, already with orange hues, clear. Reticent nose at first, and it never became very expressive. Also bit of VA (I think), but it cleaned up quickly. There is some tar, apples, and a balsamic touch. On the palate it starts with lively, ripe fruit (red berries) which turns towards tar, with earthy and saline notes in the mid-palate. Some apple too. It is light-footed, with fine, fresh acidity, and a good tannic structure: not too aggressive, but a bit drying towards the finish (especially on day one). Not yet completely convincing, but with time it may become sublime. ***
