Out of the 10-12 roses I've enjoyed so far this Summer, this is soundly in the middle of the pack. At $12 from Costco, it is well worth a try. The color is intense, darker pink. Very nice nose with floral rose and some citrus (grape fruit and/or orange). On the palate I found cranberry and some unripe red berries. Fully body for a rose. Fairly long finish.

The aroma reminds me of sauvignon blanc, and the flavors still include grapefruit and hay, but with loads of fresh berries as well. Good, but with no complexity and a limited finish. A bit too herbal for my taste.

Very intense for a rose wine. I prefer subtly.

Decent all around. A little too sweet on the nose and full on body and flavor but the taste is balanced, smooth, and OK for appetizers.
