Our first bottle and it’s a great rendition. Expressive nose, floral and fruity, with an acid first palate, crisp and focused, supported by barely ripe peach and strawberry that fan out on the palate and a savory bass note. Glad we have another 11.25L of this.

Pale pink. Grapefruit and grass on the onose. On the palate medium+ acid, peach a lot of salinity and herbal notes, long finish. So easy to drink, crushable is probably the appropriate word, with complexity which will likely grow. Best Ode to Lulu yet. Very excited for the 2023 vintage.

PnP. Beautiful salmon color. Very aromatic with strawberry, stone fruit, floral, and citrus. an amazing amount of flavor showing strawberry, floral, stone fruits, citrus peel, herbs. Bright acidity, but wonderfully balanced. Very young now, but showing well. Should age for at least a few years.

As good as always, but maybe a bit more complex this year with melon and a pink grapefruit note to go with the strawberry and mineral. Maybe a touch of residual sugar adding a bit of sweetness too. Acidity is spot on. Word to the wise: hold a bottle or two for a year or so. You’ll be rewarded. Holding some for day 2.
Day 2 is wonderful.
