Clos Vougeot Dinner (Lavandou): A bit less refined than the Drouhin or Jadot; it tastes like its been tinkered with a slightly heavier hand. More roundness but not as much punch nor delicacy.

Dont think this drinks like a Grand Cru. Seems fairly simplistic, but still coming off young too.
Rough tannins, but more cellar time should help that, not sure if will evolve much more complexity in the palate though.
Cherry, pixie stick, baking spice, green tea, fairly acidic.
Recorked overnight. Starting to go off next morning, showing hints of madeira/sherry notes.

Seemed past its prime. Great 2002 nose at first, but a bit tired on the palate. Didn't get better with 1 hour of air in the bottle.
